Greg Butler is supporting the deployment of distributed nitrogen fixing technologies for fuel and fertiliser production.
An Organic Chemist with three decades of ag-tech adoption expertise including 17 years as R&D Manager at SA No Till Farmers Association, 4 years as Product Development Manager at Agrilink and a prior history as a Certified Practicing Agronomist.
Greg has been directly involved in engineered carbon projects that have successfully issued fuel switching ACCUs (for biomass to energy) and CDR credits (for biochar production).
He is currently working on several nitrogen producing projects and most recently, FarmN are supporting the GEGHA project in NSW; the first mid-scale renewable nitrogen fertiliser plant to be built on a farm in Australia. The plant will produce 4,500 t p.a. of anhydrous ammonia for use on the cotton farm, with surplus for local sale.
