Matt Weaver leads Howden’s Climate Risk & Resilience practice in the Pacific region. Matt is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries (UK) with over 16 years of diverse experience in insurance, reinsurance, catastrophe and climate analytics, product development, pricing, innovation and alternative risk transfer. Matt focuses on solving clients’ problems by challenging traditional insurance norms to create tailored products that mitigate risks in the carbon and nature markets.

Matt is passionate about utilising insurance as an enabler for investment and harnesses the insurance industry’s collective intelligence to demonstrate the returns associated with investing in resilience.
