Kieren Whittock
Chief Carbon Officer, Agriprove
Kieren joined AgriProve in 2020 after more than a decade of experience as an exploration geologist where he was responsible for the planning and execution of large-scale mineral exploration campaigns for a range of commodities across Australia and South America. Since joining AgriProve, Kieren has been instrumental in the development and implementation of AgriProve’s operational processes to allow delivery of ACCU Scheme soil carbon projects at scale under the 2021 soil carbon method. Under Kieren’s leadership, the AgriProve operations team has now seen more than 500 projects registered under the ACCU scheme and facilitated ACCU delivery to 32 individual projects, more than any other soil carbon developer in Australia.
As Chief Carbon Officer at AgriProve Kieren is responsible for continuing to streamline and optimise the delivery of ACCUs and reduce the unit economics of project operation through deployment of innovative solutions such as remote soil organic carbon models.
Kieren holds a Batchelor of Science/Arts (Hons) from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Sustainability from the University of Sydney.
